I like how the light fades to black towards the corners. It might help, though, to make the image less busy by only having one burning match in the frame, without other previously-burnt matches in-frame.

Interesting photo. I enjoy the close-up shot as it makes the small set up look larger than it actually is.

I like the background of the image and how it makes the shot look similarly to an old film shot. I think you should try to create a larger flame that will create more light and despite a larger laminar flame.

It has a great miniature feel to it where the texture of the background helps make the match and the flame look a lot bigger than they are.

Love the concrete background. The way you captured the flame in the middle of the match stick is nice. You can see the charred half and the fresh half on different sides. What angle was the match sitting at?

Nice job! It draws you in, and makes you feel like a miniature person around a “match campfire”.

Did you try using multiple lit matches to create a higher/brighter flame? Do you think that the photograph would have been easier or more difficult to take if multiple matches were lit at once and used together?

I really like the picture, but I think the quality is kinda low. Maybe you missed something while editing?

It’s cool how you made such a small match look like a campfire almost and with all the different layers of texture in the back it really brought it out.

I would try using a higher ISO and faster shutter speed to get a more crisp flame

The smooth laminar flame contrast well with the background. I wonder if there is a way to make it less grainy.

I liked the smoothness of the fire however, I think that if you want to make it better you may try with different sets and cameras.

I really like the flame that you were able to catch, it reminds me of a shark fin! Even though the match is small, your image makes it seem larger than it is!

The background works well with this image, I also like how the scale of the subject and flame are not immediately obvious.

I like how the scaling of this picture makes it look like a larger fire than just a match. How far away did you take the picture?

I enjoy the smoothness of the flame. What would you think about adding more flames to the fire?

The flame looks very still, but using a faster shutter speed and a higher ISO would have brought out the clarity of the flame.

I like how the scaling looks, how the camera is zoomed to make it seem like a larger fire; when in reality its a tiny match.
