This video shows the flow of an alcoholic fluid as it is spun to create a vortex within the center. An iPhone flashlight to placed under the bottle so that the fluid and the bubbles can be seen. You can see the bubbles created from the spinning, flow in the direction of the vortex.

I love how simply you made the tornado effect and that it clearly shows the flow in the bottle.

It is interesting to see how much the bubbles can be dispersed in the fluid. I did not know that they could show the fluid flow like this. I like how well the vortex is shown and how clean the background is.

Very cool visualization of a vortex using the bubbles to track the flow. Your lighting was very nice.

  • I really like the neon green color pattern. Try playing around in the video editor a bit more to bring out the color and possibly boost the contrast

Really enjoyed this composition, Bryan. I like the way your setup focused on the action/fluid flow and didn’t have much distraction.

Really enjoy the tornado effet you created here! I’d love to see this in slo-motion.

The way the bottle cap is partially lit up in the first shot does a nice job of framing the experiment.

I appreciate the second shot that emphasizes the flow of the vortex within the bottle and the movement of the bubbles around the “tornado”.

I like how the light in the dark showed in detail of what is going on in the bottle, as a opposed to normal lighting where you only see the whirl.

This is a really cool video, I like the green vortex look in the middle and the lighting helps see all the particles

Very neat! Love the contrast between the bright green and the pitch black background. Almost looks neon.

I like the contrast of the lighted green bottle against a totally dark background.

I love the fact that the bottle is so still with the tornado inside. Really gives the video a witchcraft-y feeling.

This is super cool! I love how the fluid diffuses the light, and how you can see the particles spinning around in a tornado shape!
