I experimented with capturing the smoke laminar flow resulted from burning frankincense. I used one source of high-intensity light and a piece of black fabric as a background to emphasize the flow lines in the smoke.

This is such a cool photo I really like your choice with black and white
The use of black and white in this photo makes it mysterious and very interesting. I also like how you captured the spread of the smoke in the light after it rose from the pyramid.
This is a really nice picture, I like the effect the smoke has on the pyramid making it look kinda moist
This photo is so beautiful. It looks very sci-fi. I think you did a really good job capturing this.
Love the contrast in this photo! Very clear focus as well, excellent work!
I enjoy the angle of the light contrasting to the angle of the pyramid because the smoke looks like it’s tied to the light almost
This is a gorgeous photo. The smooth flow of the smoke looks great and the framing of the image is really good.
I really enjoy the choice to go B&W, I think it enhances the composition and detail.
I really like the plume of smoke at the top of the image. The way the smoke breaks off into organic flow is very interesting to look at.
The contrast in this photo between the black and white and different slopes used in the image really emphasizes the flow of the smoke. Amazing.
I think it’s very visually appealing how the side length of the pyramid matches the width of the lamp opening well.
The aperture is spot on- back ground is nice and smooth, but the objects are well within the field of view.
Beautiful picture! Really like what you did with the lighting/color in post production.
I like how the smoke has clean streamlines and then how it expands/disperses over the pyramid shape. I think the side of the pyramid and the smoke almost blend together geometrically because of this.
I like how the pyramid looks kind of wet, which makes it look like the smoke is a waterfall dripping on it.
I think you were masterful in your contrast in this image. The aesthetic reminds me of a sci-fi film; it’s very beautiful and mysterious.
Awesome work! I enjoy how you added a black background to the picture to really emphasize the smoke.
I like the asymmetry of the lamp. I think it adds a pleasing aesthetic effect (maybe following the rule of two-thirds).
Very cool photograph – I enjoy the contrast especially. The lighting is perfect.
