
I took this photo on my iPhone 8 on my way back to CU Boulder near Superior, on October 10, 2020 at 5:24pm. A bundle of clouds were somewhat covering the sun which illuminated clouds that look to be at a higher elevation. This made for a great contrast in lighting between various clouds. The Skew-T diagram info tells me that on this day there was a stable atmosphere. These clouds look to be of stratus, altostratus, and perhaps stratocumulus type.
