I added blue food coloring to rubbing alcohol and then drenched candle wax with that alcohol. I then placed this wax and alcohol mix in a glass bowl and wrapped my led strip around the bowl, setting the light settings to a dark blue. I then set the mixture on fire and took photos of what I saw. This particular photo is taken when the wax began to solidify after the flame was put out.

    I really like the light rings that formed around the solidified wax. I also really like the color. The image reminds me of deep ocean creatures and it looks really cool.
