Stella Newman // Clouds Second

This image was taken on November 10th at 12:00pm. I classified these clouds as mountain wave, cirrus, and at the bottom of the image the clouds are cumulus. As you can see in the Skew-T diagram the CAPE was stable, so the atmosphere was also stable. The weather surrounding the time I took this image in Boulder, CO was dry, windy, and November 10th was the start of a cold front in Boulder.

    Absolutely beautiful image, Stella! Really like the composition you have here. The swirly clouds in the top half really contrast with the solid blue beneath. Nice work!
