I really like the vibrancy that you were able to obtain with this picture. In regards to focus, my best advice is to take multiple sets of pictures with different settings on shutterspeed, aperture, and ISO. This will allow you to choose which ones are more focused, because it can be really hard to find the correct combination for of those for a good focus.
