Trevor Peterson Clouds First

Trevor Peterson Clouds First

This is a group of cumulus clouds with a small group of cirrus in the back middle. The photo was taken on Sept 28th, at 11:22am facing west towards the mountains from the intersection of Valmont and Butte Mill Road. Due to the presence of growing cumulus clouds, the atmosphere is not stable. This can be seen due to the CAPE increasing throughout the day. The first Skew-T is from the morning of the photo, while the second is the evening of the photo. The clouds are most likely formed around 5900′ in elevation.
