I like how smooth these clouds are and how big the sky looks

The layered cone shapes of these clouds are crazy, and I also really like the 3 foothills that look like they were copypasted.

I saw the image before you cropped the highway out, and also after that was done. It was pretty amazing how much of a difference it made! Originally, I liked the highway because it was pure americana that reminded me of the road trips that I’ve done in the past. Ultimately, I think that you improved the image by cropping it out because the goal of the Clouds assignments is to showcase the clouds. The clouds themselves really remind me of a painting of sandstone rocks that I saw in east germany a few months ago. Awesome colors too!

I actually think its super cool how you can see the highway in the bottom third of the image, and how it’s symmetric with the rest of the image. Along with the mountains and the brightly colored sunset it gives this image a very Western feel.

I find the headlights of the cars to be a bit distracting. I want to focus on the clouds but keep looking at the lights. This is true mainly for the yellow headlights, and to a lesser extent, the red lights on the truck.

The sharp layers in the clouds look so cool, the sunset colors are gorgeous, and the whole image is very American roadtrip nostalgic to me. It looks like a painting.

I don’t mind the truck tail lights much, but it would be interesting to see the image without them. I think they add some cool colors, but I think the sunset speaks for itself.

I like the contrast between the foreground and the clouds. The framing of this picture has a cool complimentary effect on the colors from the clouds.
