For the second team assignment, Sierra Greeley, Jonathon Gruener, and I decided to create “water fireworks” using water, oil, and food coloring. The camera was a Canon EOS5D with a Canon EF 28-200mm lens. The settings used to capture this image were: f/5.6 aperture, ISO 3200, and a focal length of 100 mm.

I thought the coloring of this image was unique. I think the “crop” command in the editing software would help eliminate the upper left hand corner shiny dots. Did you dye the water prior to injecting the food coloring droplets into the fluid?
