This video depicts Rayleigh-Bénard convection. The fluid is vegetable oil with mica powder added to visualize the fluid interactions. The container was placed on a hot plate to cause the convection cells to form.

    how cool convection can be. I like how you kept this simple and clean, it really lets you focus on teh soft relaxing flow.

    I like the color you chose to show this phenomena, it is a great choice and it gives the image a lot of vibrancy.
