This photo captures the fluid flow around a model truck demonstrated by the Flume Machine in the ITLL. This was created by placing the model car within the fluid and observing the resulting wave. The camera this photo was taken on is a Canon EOS R6 Mark II with a 24-104 mm kit lens.

shane, I like how clean this image is. I think the effect of flow could have been clearer if the top layer of the water and not the car was in focus.

You did a great job keeping clarity in this photo, it almost looks like the truck isn’t submerged, yet the resulting wave is indeed present! I would love to see the integration of some sort of tracer in this this experiment; injecting a dye would give us a much better idea of the dynamics of the flow as it passes the truck, since there is probably some turbulence happening that is undetectable in the current set up.
