This is such a cool image. I appreciate the detail and hard work of the scientists and engineers who created the telescope that took this picture. It is also neat to see the intricacies of the glowing fireball in the sky which sustains life as we know it. In terms of flow, you can see the brighter plasma rising from the interior before it falls back into the darker lanes. Each of the small areas are roughly the size of Texas2, showing the immense scale of these plumes.
