I’m very fond of this image, the colors are so vibrant and the green looks incredibly gooey. The fluid flow is quite interesting and the contrast with the black background is perfect against the neon colors. The bubbles in the middle could be a bit more in focus, but I’m sure that would have been very hard to accomplish with the flow.
I like the coloring of this photo. It’s nice and clear, bright, and alive feeling. Nice representation of flow. Good contrast, good photographic technique.
Very vibrant photo. Personally, I would like a bit more focus. The flow is interesting in the way that it seems the colors are still seen in groupings and does not seem well mixed.
1. The colors are brillant and captivating.
2.The flow is well detailed.
3. The photographic technique is wonderful with full brilliant colors and framing of the image.
Very creative image. I like the distinct colors. I think the focus lost on the falling particles is a little distracting from the sharp focus on the bottom of the glass.
The glowing fluid and different colors in this photo are neat. I like the little spheres descending to the center and collecting on the bottom. Good job photographing in a very challenging low light situation. The one thing that I do notice is that the back of the glass appears to be in focus and the center out of focus. I think it would have improved the image to get the focus further forwards. In situations like this you can do that by starting with the lights on, put a target object (e.g. a strip of paper with something printed on it) at the correct depth, get the focus right then with autofocus off turn the lights off and add the liquid.
I like the mixing of the colors and the black background. The contrast has good range and i think it was very creative to use glow sticks. I think maybe removing the blue dots could be something to experiment with.
Really nice job capturing this photo in a low light situation. Hardly any noise from the high ISO. I like how the photo shows the effect of the glow stick falling down and then settling into a clear image on the bottom.
Incredible color! Great idea to use vegetable oil on the top water surface to slow the drops of glow stick fluid through the water. Although the focus is a little fuzzy in the middle, the droplets on the bottom of the image have great smooth-looking textures. The neon colors are also very intense and contrast perfectly with the black background.
I love the neon colors and the focus on the droplets at the bottom, but the focus could have been brought forward slightly or used a faster shutter speed to catch the falling drops. Great representation of fluid separation with this experiment
The image is very vibrant, sharp contrast between the colors. Are the colors inverted or altered in any way? The focus is crisp at the bottom of the glass jar but fall out of focus toward the top. This could be due to a few things: motion blur of the flow (faster shutter speed helps), curvature in the glass causing refraction, or just the flow moving in and out of the focal plane. Good work overall!
1. This is a really inserting image with good contrast
2. The focus is interesting. I like the bobble on the ground but it wish the falling one were in focus
3. The depth of field is cool
Really enjoy the idea of using neon glow stick and the contrast in color is very vibrant. I like how you can see the individual droplets coming down through the vegetable oil towards the bottom. You said it was difficult to focus on the droplets but i like how it focuses on the colors at the bottom of the flask.
Art: The variety of colors is visually appealing.
Flow: I’m interested in seeing why the fluid stays in droplets once it reaches the bottom.
Photography: Good use of focus to focus on the bottom pile.
The glow stick is bright and helps to show the detail in the flow, and I like how you used the vegetable oil to slow down the flow. It seems like the camera could have a little more focus because it is a little blurry in the center of the image. The contrast looks good, but you can try to get better clarity in the bubbles using software tools.
Nice use of neon colors. Interesting to see the bubbles still formed on the bottom surface. Good texture/feel.
Art: It is very psychedelic. Great work on this
Flow: Awesome flow in the middle.
Photography: maybe a little more high res but that could have been due to a mason jar.
I like the vibrant colors. I am disappointed that the droplets couldn’t be brought into focus. I encourage you to try and achieve a better focus, because the photo we be very cool.
Having the focus of the photo at the bottom with the bubbles in the back make the photo feel alive. Leaving the green layer on top gives it some depth. Great contrast and use of bright colors.
The neon color dye contrasts well with the black background. The vegetable oil used helped create aesthetic effects of bubbling under the water. The image is vibrant and soothing.
MORE GLOW STICKS!!!! Nice contrast between the black background and the neon dye. The flow at the bottom is reminiscent of those old little bubble toys you could flip over and watch. In the future maybe consider removing the few blue dots in the background as they distract from the image a little.
Looks like a lava lamp. I like how the colors are so vibrant. Depth of field is short but I like it when the depth of field is short. Makes interesting effects.
-Awesome and vibrant colors, great idea to use glow sticks to get neon colors
-Lots of mixing and ripples create a very intricate fluid scenario
-Really nice contrast range and looks great against a black background
