Fantastic range of colors, and an impressive amount of dynamic range to the image. The building seems out of place on the horizon of mountains though.

The sun still trying to show over the horizon make the photo have enough brightness while being able to have the silhouette of the mountains at the bottom and the amazing colors in this one! The oranges and purples that come out are incredible! The timing of this photo couldn’t have been better.

Wow, this really pops with all of the beautiful colors. I think the building could have been edited out, to keep the natural feel of the image (plus it’s a tiny bit distracting). The wisps at the bottom are very interesting! Great capture of detail.

Great colors! The range of colors is amazing, you have from white to yellow to purple to orange. Brightest on the bottom, where the sunlight has been absorbed. Very good sunset picture.

This is a truly incredible image, worthy of being a computer wallpaper or in a calendar! I love the darkness in this picture. The way that the sunset is peering through the clouds makes the clouds look like they are on fire and dissolving away as if they were made of paper. I love all of the colors in this image, from the yellows to the oranges, even purple, dark blue, and gray. And the fact that the mountains are still at the bottom really makes this image a home run! This is incredible, great job!

Really nice colors in this photo. The contrast of the warm and cool tones is very appealing and I particularly like the traces of purple in the middle to lower right. I find that my eye is drawn towards the colors and textures in that region of the image.

Wow. The contrast and color range is awesome. Awesome technique. Maybe crop the building out of the photo.

You clearly know how to contrast two types of colors to produce beautiful imagery. The way the sun is setting and peaks through the clouds is akin to the blinds of a curtain being blown by the wind as the sunlight is moved around them by the shadows of their feet. Although the building in the far-left corner does not to be there, it does not detract from the overall image. The mountain landscape as a black foreground is helpful since it helps the eye focus on the brightest part of the image with the landscape itself being the darkest part of the image. The clouds themselves have a semi-circular perimeter which helps accentuate the sun beams peeking through to give it a cinematic style and look. The one thing I wish there was more of was the small corner of blue sky to complete the color scale and light scale. Even though it was edited in post, I like that there is a taste of what the image could have been to be absolutely perfect. I loved this image.

Superb colors in this image. Artistic 10/10. Less focus on the cloud types (can’t really identify a particular type of cloud). The sun rays illuminating the bottom of the cloud are great. There is a portion of the sky in the bottom right of the image that is a lighter, more natural blue than the rest of the blues in the image. Maybe you could use a layer to change that blue to match the others.

Very pleasing cloud, this image really captures the sunsets rays that get lost in the dark clouds up top. The orange with the focus on the clouds is my favorite part, and the purple tint on the right adds to the impact of this sunset.

I especially like the color gradient shift as the image moves from the foreground to the background. The little white spot on the bottom right and the building antenna are a little distracting but could easily be edited out. Overall this is a very stunning image, hard to capture good sunsets with the relatively low buildings in Boulder.

Photographic technique: The focus of the clouds is amazing, and the colors that are picked up are mind blowing.

    – Great photo I really like the color contrast range.
    – Sunset photos are always great, it is difficult to tell what kind of clouds we are seeing however.

Very dramatic photo. Looks like the sky is on fire! The contrast is really heightened by the dark clouds overhead. You did well with the post processing, feels slightly extreme but not unrealistic. I like it a lot

Very bright sunset. I like the rays of sunshine you can see coming out from the bottom center of the image. The dark formation on the top helps contrast the bright colors of the sunlight.

Excellent color range. The vividness of the sunset is gorgeous. Well focused, but possibly try and crop out any building in the future.
