Amazing color! I like the silhouette of the landscape, though on the left side there is a distracting grass or something sticking up which isn’t quite in focus.

I really like how uniform the clouds are in this image. It seems to happen more during a sunrise, so I’m wondering if that is due to the stability of the atmosphere in the morning.

Incredible colors in the sunrise! Great idea blacking out the golf course, it contrasts really well with the yellows, oranges, reds, and purples in the clouds. Honestly, I can’t think of anything I would improve with this image. Very cool!

Really nice colors in this sunset. I love the purples and reds but surprisingly the yellow near the horizon really makes the image for me. I agree that the image may be improved with about half of the negative space cropped out. Nice submission.

Perhaps crop out the bottom portion a little more, but the colors in the picture are absolutely exquisite.

This image’s color is incredibly diverse and eye-catching. The moment this type of light is in the sky is hard to catch especially with a thick blanket of clouds covering it. The pink and purple touching each other feels like something you would see in a movie or even a dream. As previously mentioned the one glaring problem, although minor, is the foreground taking up quite the amount of space in the image. I understand the editing that sort of stuff in post is difficult, but it is something to keep in mind for later images. As for artistic merit, this is extremely beautiful to take in considering that the color spectrum goes from left to right as if the viewer were reading a book which is both natural and comfortable. I may be wrong, but perhaps Photoshop could bring out the pink and yellow more because I would love to see the colors pop out a bit more, but that is only my opinion. This is an extremely pretty image.

WOW, the sunrise colors are amazing and love the range in vibrant colors. Great choice in making the foreground completely blacked out because it adds a cool border between black and sunrise. I would crop out the bottom a little bit because the sunrise is amazing and the surplus of black is taking away the sunrises attention.

I think that the only constructive comment would be cropping out the bottom of the image colors are great.

Wow gorgeous colors!! I think it was a great idea to blackout the land below, definitely provides contrast and helps those colors pop. Little too much negative space at the bottom, takes away from the pretty colors happening up top.

The colors on this photo are really cool. It’s an awesome sunrise. It could be cropped at the bottom to limit the negative space.

Art: I really like the color contrast of the under tones of the clouds and the dark background.
Flow: The flow is quickly understandable and easily recognized.
Photographic technique: The focus of the Clouds is great, the depth of field could be a bit better.

I like your choice of blacking out the foreground, gives a nice silhouette effect. The full range of purple to red to yellow is very striking. My only critique is that the tree silhouette in the foreground looks to be a tad out of focus.

Gorgeous sunrise! I’m really digging the coloring, and how the bottom of the clouds are highlighted by the sun, particularly at the top of the photograph. I like how the bottom is blacked out. Nice.

Very nice capture. It looks like the clouds just stretch on forever and the contrast in the photo is excellent. I like the way that the horizon is just a fine black line to divide the image.

Vivid range of deep colors. Some of the foliage in the foreground is a little distracting, however the silhouettes really add nicely to the to the image. Well focused and crisp image.
