The skittles bleeding = that is very Oddly Satisfying! I want to eat Skittles now! I think the turbulent drops distracts from the laminar flow – I would have wanted to see the bleeding continue to the middle before you add more water. Also it would be beneficial to control the lighting a bit more – the shadows of, I assume, you walking.

This video is awesome! I really like the visual aesthetic of the colors flowing off of the skittles. The focus and color of this video are great. Nice work!

That was a really cool video. The different colors made the video aesthetically pleasing. This was a very original and interesting idea for a flow visualization video.

I really like how the video was edited, with the colors slowly progressing towards the middle. I personally would have liked to see the colors interact in the middle without you adding more water and disturbing them.

The colors in this video are fantastic, and it is nicely framed. I would recommend not moving around as much because your shadow can bee seen on the subject. The image is a bit blurry but I think this lends itself nicely to the blurring behavior of the colors.

The colors that this produces are really cool. Did you consider slowing the video down right at the moment you pour extra water to see extra detail and this moment.

The flow of the coloring is interesting, the setup is a little confusing. In the report, a setup figure would be very helpful.

Beautiful, but change the music if you don’t have the rights to it.

Nice colors against the white background and fun choice of music. The focus is a little off and the light is a little flat. Maybe consider adding a soft overhead light.

Like the music and it was a nice visualization of the flow with all the different colors. Possibly remove the portion where you pour more water into the center. Focus and framing could be better.

That’s awesome. Really satisfying to watch, really wanted to see all the colors meet at the center! Music fits with the trippy tie dye pattern.

What a cool effect, the distinct boundaries between the colors are really nice. I just wish we could have seen them come together in the center!

This is super interesting, the colors are awesome. The video looks a bit out of focus and I think it could have been slowed down just a bit to make the flow more clear but overall, great work!

This reminds me of some of the videos we looked at involving surface tension. Could you use surface tension to direct the flow in a particular way?

This is very cool! It is fascinating how the flow comes off of the skittles, but only flows in towards the center.

This is a really cool idea. I like the use of skittles for this since they are awesome. The colors and flow are really pretty.
Why do they flow to the middle?

The spreading of the skittle colors at first is really great! They refuse to mix until they are agitated by another fluid, and you demonstrate that with this video. The various colors are wonderful.

Beautiful colors, effect and setup. Maybe you can adjust the focus to kind of highlight the colored flow.

Straight forward but it works well. Amazing how it forms straight lines. The image quality could be better but overall nice video.

It is great see how the colors are coming out from skittles are. It is interesting that the colors are not mixing when the colors are coming out.

Love the colors on this one! Really nice editing and flow veing depicted. I think my only real complaint is that the video is too short! Would have loved to watch it a bit more.

The solid, uniform flow of color from each skittle towards the center was extremely satisfying! I wish that the flow wasn’t destroyed at the very end, though. The focus and color contrast was well done.

Nice experiment. I really like how you caught the effect of melting skittles with water. The use of a gopro was a good cinematic choice.
