Clouds Second | Casey Cooter Spring 2018

Clouds Second | Casey Cooter Spring 2018

Second photo for the assignment of photographing a cloud. It was about to rain before this photo was taken, and the cloud was puffy, so it is a Cumulus cloud.  The Skew-T Diagram can be seen below. I believe the atmosphere to be unstable.

Nimbostratus Precipitato clouds! I really like the deep texture; it’s always amazing to see the depth in clouds that would otherwise look so flat. I wonder if you could bring out the colors even more?

Good image, the cloud details are very visible, but I wish that there were stronger graphic elements in this image, as there is not real subject or focus and the cloud is kind of homogeneous.

Interesting red tint of the clouds. It adds anticipation for a storm.

Your choice of textures, dark colors, and the slight hint of red hues all contribute to an unstable, foreboding image of nimbostratus clouds. Great work.

Dark, gloomy cloud. I like the red spots in it to add an villain like effect.

The color is great, I like how it is all varying shades of the same color. The texture is really brought out using this effect.

Great detail in these clouds, it can be really hard to capture grey clouds but you did a really great job.

Do clouds ever precipitate in a stable atmosphere?

Neat clouds, it looks like the evil spirit coming out in ghostbusters. Could use some postprocessing to make the details pop better.
