I used the classic science fair reaction of baking soda, powdered food dye, and white vinegar to create a colorful bubbling mixture. The rapid production of gas and release of energy mixed the dyes into vibrant bubbles of all sizes.

The colors in this photo are awesome! The photo looked to be taken at a very good time during the experiment because the varying sizes in bubbles in this picture make it look very natural.

I love the lighting that you were able to obtain! Although I am not sure that this picture actually needs much changing in focus, as I think the slightly out of focus top left is a nice contrast, you mentioned focus during your critique so I wanted to document some ideas. Backing up a little and using some sort of stabilizer, like a tripod or resting your arm on something could help. This would require a little cropping and more use of the zoom. Regardless, this is a super fun and colorful image.

I like the colors and variations in bubble size. I really like the right side of the image where the blue meets the orange since they are such contrasting colors.

This is a great photo! The colors really pop especially since your focus is so sharp. The extreme closeup and overhead angle really emphasize the textures of the different-sized bubbles. It makes me think of a birthday party or a cool tie-dye.

Great job with the colors and contrast. The lighting really helps highlight the colors and the variation in sizes of the bubbles.

Nice variation within the frame. The focus is good, and the mixing of colors is appealing to the eye.
