Get Wet Report The Addition of soap to water/oil mixture

Water and oil do not mix at normal circumstances. They do not mix due to the fact that water molecules are more attracted to each other than to oil molecules. The addition of a solvent “Soap” provides molecules that are attracted to both water and oil.  The solvent molecule will be attached to water molecule at one end and to oil molecule at the other end making water and oil mix.
