I love the length of the image, it really adds drama to the flame. You lose some resolution in the top of the image. I love the dynamic motion that you can almost see in the still. That is pretty hard to convey.

Very cool and unique cropping of this photo. That really makes this photo I think. The column is in decent focus! The spiral on the right hand side is very interesting as well.

Very cool flame image. Good focus and motion freeze. I have to agree that the darker vortex on the right side really adds a focal point that draws the eyes.

Art: The contrast between the background and the fire is fantastic for this image, and the swirling vortex captured is also really well done.
Flow: The flow is quickly understandable and recognized.
Photographic technique: The focus used is great the lines of the flames are fully captured.

The spiral you captured inside the macro-flames is very interesting aesthetically appealing. The image is well-resolved and the focus is sharp but you may consider removing the little blemish on the left and cropping the bottom of the image up just a bit to make the flames flush with the bottom of the frame.

Very nice image! The cropping/framing is really nice, and suites the flow nicely. The flow structures are quite clearly seen, especially the vorticies on the right. The exposure is right on, full contrast range in the flame over a flat black background.

The streaks of fire are well illustrated. I really like the vortex on the right side and how you can see the change of color in the flame as it rises.

Great capture of this vertical column of fire. Details are very crisp and the vibrant fire looks fantastic against the pure black background.

This column of fire is gorgeous. The contrast and focus are excellent, and the rolling fire towards the center adds nicely to the image. The fire looks silky smooth, wonderful image.
